We are a leading international supplier of transformers with locations in Germany, Europe, Asia and the USA. With a total of around 3,200 employees, we develop and manufacture oil distribution, cast resin and power transformers, special devices and compact stations. Our transformers are used by energy suppliers, industrial companies, switchgear manufacturers and energy producers in the conventional and increasingly also in the renewable energy sector. For our international group we are looking for a: Global Supplier Development Lead (m/f/d) as soon as possible:

Areas of responsibility
  • Lead and execute the full audit process, starting from preparation to execution to follow-up.
  • Lead the harmonization and improvement of internal supplier development processes, guidelines and KPI’s as well as material specifications across all SGB-SMIT locations.
  • Work collaboratively together with the global category managers to identify critical, strategic and high-potential suppliers.
  • Improve their capabilities and competitiveness in the areas of cost, quality, lead time and technology.
  • Support the internal organization in supplier and material approval processes.
Profile
  • Degree in industrial engineering, business administration or comparable qualifications
  • Several years of experience in supplier development, preferably in the transformer industry.
  • ISO auditor certification, ideally in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001 Environmental, 45001 Safety
  • Exceptional skills in:
    • Analytics,
    • Project and process management,
    • Self-organization, structuring and prioritization,
    • Assertiveness combined with teamwork skills,
    • Communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Business fluent in English and experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
