Role: Power/Test Engineer

Provide support to test bay, ensuring production flow, output levels and accuracy of quality test processes.

  • Review customer specifications with engineering and marketing during project review to verify all testing requirements necessary for the transformer.
  • Provide an accurate forecast of time required for testing of transformer to master scheduler.
  • Prepare hourly test schedule for customer submission.
  • Develop and maintain internal test requirements that meet IEEE and ASTM standards.
  • Ensure latest requirements for IEEE test code C57.12.90 are current.
  • Analyze equipment and methods used in testing and provide business case for upgrades to equipment.
  • Represent the company in the IEEE transformer committee to ensure that the changes being discussed are feasible to implement from technical, commercial and logistical standpoints.

Basic Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited four (4) year university or college.
  • Three (3) years engineering related experience in manufacturing.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Highly competent in teamwork and collaboration
  • Passionate and energetic self-starter
