We are looking to add a motivated and hardworking supervisor to our team! This position is for a Production Supervisor in Richland, MS for the Voltage Regulator Business. You will be working with a team of manufacturing, design, and service professionals, as well as collaborating with shop floor personnel to ensure a quality product is delivered on-time and safely. You will be expected to enforce company policies and all safety requirements.
The production supervisor will be responsible for the production output based on labor and equipment efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards. This position will also be expected to identify and execute opportunities for improvements across the complete value chain.
Effectively manage workforce to accomplish daily, monthly, & annual targets
Maintain workflow by monitoring process, observing control points, eliminating bottlenecks
Manage departmental performance measures including visual controls, displays, and progress reports
Analyze Capacity of Manufacturing and create measures to improve productivity
Coordinate with all departments to improve processes and product
Effectively communicate among multiple functional groups (sales/marketing, procurement, suppliers, manufacturing, etc.) for the flawless execution of customer requirements.
Ensure effective employee relations by providing feedback, coaching, and development
Track employee absenteeism using time keeping system
Lead and support Process FMEAs
Establish and maintain SOPs for maintaining high standards of productivity, quality, reliability and safety in manufacturing.
Support Training Program for Shop Floor Personnel
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience
Bachelor or Associate degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field
2-5 years of manufacturing experience Production Supervisor or similar role
Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications
Focus on quality and continuous improvement
Ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated to produce high quality results within the time allocated, with limited supervision
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Adobe Acrobat
Must be willing to work either 1st or 2nd shift

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience
Experience in the Power industry with voltage regulator/transformer products, low/medium/high voltage products or electrical substations.
Knowledge of the electrical transmission or distribution systems and IEEE standards
Experience with SAP
Strong understanding of design-to-cost and design-to-manufacturing principles
Strong understanding of LEAN principles
Experience with implementing Automation and Digitalization Projects
