Your Impact

The Sales Manager/Engineer will manage the sale of all T&D (transmission & distribution) products in the Qualitrol portfolio within the UK/Ireland region. They will cultivate relationships with new and existing customers. Our Sales Managers/Engineers collaborate with engineers, directors, and VP-level contacts within the electric utilities and OEM customers. They also drive the sales of Qualitrol’s industry-leading, condition monitoring products, to the electric utility market.

Here’s Where You’ll Demonstrate Your Proficiencies

  • Travel to customer sites to personally meet with the customer to influence engineers and senior level personnel.
  • Introduce new products, promoting benefits (i.e., function, price, general value) through product presentations.
  • Collaborate with Qualitrol management and engineering staff on marketing strategies and new product development.
  • Provide Voice of the Customer (VOC) input on customer trends, new product needs, and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Engineering degree or other technical training or experience.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales within the region.
  • Demonstrated experience meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Technical background in electro/mechanical products, transformers, or the power transmission & distribution industry is a plus.
  • Previous experience with direct sales to electrical utilities or transformer manufacturers is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
