The fourth lesson of the new course titled “SMART GRIDS AND MICROGRIDS” is scheduled for 19th March and the topics of the fourth lesson are:
SMART GRIDS: The European Union defines a smart grid as “an electricity network that efficiently integrates the behavior of all connected users (generators, consumers, prosumers) to ensure an economically efficient and sustainable power system.”
MICROGRIDS: electricity distribution systems made up of integrated distributed energy sources, interconnected loads and storage energy systems which operate as a unique controllable entity.
