HD Hyundai Electric plans to invest 397 billion won ($272.3 million) to boost production capacities for 765 kV ultra-high-capacity transformers at its plants in Ulsan and Alabama.
HD Hyundai Electric Co. has signed a 66.2 billion won ($49.6 million) contract to supply power equipment to a Swedish power company.
The company will supply nine transformers with capacities of 275 to 400 kV to five substations operated by National Grid by October 2027.
