Iberdrola has received the production license from the Portuguese Directorate General of Energy and Geology (DGEG) for the construction of the largest wind farm in Portugal.

Around €21.5 billion will be invested into its network business, while will be invested €15.5 billion in renewables.

The funds are aimed at improving the efficiency and resilience of the power grid and helping connect more renewable energy sources.

The solar power plant will be one of the largest in Italy.
