Alstom Grid energises the second HVDC project on Jeju Island in South Korea
France, Levallois-Perret: Alstom Grid has successfully energised the second HVDC turnkey project in South Korea, following the first in 1997. The project awarded in 2009 establishes a 400 MW HVDC bi-directional transmission line between Jindo and the island of Jeju.
