Conference 2025
The 2025 Transformers Magazine Industry Navigator conference on Sustainable Development Strategies for T&D was held in Dubai, UAE, from April 9–11. It brought together industry leaders to address the unprecedented surge in demand for transformers and switchgear, and to explore forward-looking strategies for sustainable growth in the transmission and distribution (T&D) sector. Discussions focused on innovative alternatives to traditional capacity expansion, risks of overinvestment, the impact of short-term utility commitments, and the industry’s growing skills gap. The conference emphasized the need for disruptive ideas and long-term strategies to ensure resilience and sustainability in the face of shifting market demands.
