ANDE installs new power transformer in Villeta substation

Paraguay, Villeta: The National Electricity Administration (ANDE) commissioned a 30 MVA transformer in the substation Villeta.
The company’s press release explains that the works consisted of the removal and installation of 30 MVA transformer in the substation, processing, loading and chemical analysis of the oil and other tests.
The new power transformer replaced the previous 20 MVA one increasing full installed capacity of the station to 50 MVA and providing greater reliability and better power supply to the area, reports La Nacion.
The work at the Villeta substation was carried out without interruption of electrical service in the area.
