China to abolish anti-dumping duties on GOES exports from US
China, Beijing: Chinese authorities have announced termination of anti-dumping and countervailing duty tariffs on grain-oriented electrical steel (GOES) exports from the U.S.
The decision was welcomed by the U.S. Senators who have been pushing for fair trade practices, reports Steel Market Update.
“This announcement is great news for Ohio steel producers like AK Steel that have been harmed by unfair trade,” said Senator Brown. He believes enforcement of trade laws is one of the best ways to boost America’s steel industry.
