India, Haryana: One kilometre of new wiring and an 11 km cable will replace the aging infrastructure in Atali by April. Additionally, 25 new 100 kVA transformers will be installed.
Estimates have been prepared to resolve transformer and line issues, ensuring a stable electricity supply.
With summer approaching and electricity demand rising, power department employees face increased pressure to maintain an uninterrupted supply. To prepare for this, the Atali electricity subdivision has started strengthening power distribution ahead of peak summer months.
The Atali subdivision serves around 27,000 consumers in 44 villages, including 3,500 agricultural and 100 industrial connections. The area is powered by 33 kV substations in Bajad, Mahasar, Bhilwara, and Kanti, all connected to the 132 kV Atali substation. The network also includes 10 RDS feeders and 40 agricultural feeders.
Deepak Kumar, SDO of Atali Electricity Corporation, stated that all junior engineers and linemen have been instructed to inspect and maintain power lines before summer.
