Huge solar plant with 35 transformers planned in Arizona
USA, Arizona: One of the largest green energy projects in Arizona is expected to receive green light from the Mohave County Board of Supervisors on 21 March.
Grey Hawk Solar is planning to build a photovoltaic solar energy facility off the west side of Route 66, with about 35 inverters, each of which will have a transformer to step up the electricity to an internal distribution voltage, reports Daily Miner.
The new plant would generate 70 MW, enough to provide power for 14,000 homes.
