$130M loan approved for new transformers and connections in Kenya
Kenya: About 300,000 households and businesses will be linked to Kenya’s national grid after the African Development Bank (AfDB) approved a $130 million loan for a low-cost connection project.
AfDB says the new loan will be used in the second phase of the project where new transformers will be installed to connect homes that are far from power grid, reports All Africa.
The loan is the second disbursement from AfDB under the Last Mile Connectivity project.
