New transformer to be installed in Parkovaya substation this year

Russia, Vladikavkaz: Parkovaya substation which is currently under construction will have the 25 MVA power transformer installed this year. The construction of the new station is conducted in the framework of the Agreement between JSC North Caucasus and the Republic of Ossetia Government.

Russia, Vladikavkaz: Parkovaya substation which is currently under construction will have the 25 MVA power transformer installed this year. The construction of the new station is conducted in the framework of the Agreement between JSC North Caucasus and the Republic of Ossetia Government.

The new 110 kV substation Parkovaya in Vladikavkaz, North Ossetia will provide electricity to the western and southwestern parts of the North Ossetia capital – residential complexes and socially significant buildings. The works are carried out by IDGC North Caucasus – a subsidiary of JSC Rossetti.

Completed works include indoor switchgear and foundations for the transformers and the rest of the equipment. In addition, the substation will be enclosed within brick fence.

Apart from the new power transformer, 110 kV gas-insulated switchgear and 6-10 kV vacuum switches will be set up.

Parkovaya is set to become one of the most advanced substation in North Ossetia, where the equipment meets all modern requirements for reliability and smooth operation of the power grid object. There are also plans to install modern remote control systems.
