Nigerian utility acquires 138 transformers

Nigeria, Lagos: Nigerian utility The Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) announced that the company acquired 138 transformers to be used for replacement of faulty units within its network.

Newly acquired transformers have been inspected by the Managing Director of the company, Dr. Oladele Amoda, who said the company had sourced funds from banks to purchase the equipment, reports daily Trust.

Dr. Amoda also added that the company recently signed a partnership agreement with Huawei of China and Mojec International in order to improve its services and provide more reliable electricity supply.
