Big solar power farm plans announced for rural Kildare
Ireland, Kildare: Irish company Power Capital Renewable Energy Limited has revealed plans for building an 88-acre, 25 MW solar farm in Kildare, which would include 86,200 photovoltaic panels on ground mounted frames at Dysart.
The plans include 20 transformer stations, and the necessary infrastructure and equipment, reports Leinster Leader.
A ten-year permission span is being sought. Submissions can be made by January 19 and a decision is due by February 9.
