Hannover utility installs new phase-shifting transformer
Germany, Hannover: Stadtwerke Hannover (Enercity), Hannover’s local electricity provider, has made a large step in the Stöcken substation upgrade, installing a new phase-shifting power transformer.
The new phase-shifting transformer was put into operation on 1 February, and should make the electricity network more flexible, reports Energate Messenger.
Manufactured by ABB, this transformer is the second largest unit in the Enercity network.
