Serbian power utility completes maintenance of 410 MVA transformer

Serbia, Belgrade: Serbian state-owned power utility Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) has completed the maintenance works on a 410 MVA power transformer at Kostolac B coal-fired power plant.

Servicing the transformer should increase the power plant’s reliability and safety, and help manage the electricity output at the plant which reached a record-high volume last year, reports SeeNews.

The works were carried out by a Serbian specialist company Komel transformator in the last half of 2016.
