60 MVA transformers to go into operation at a new substation
India, Uttar Pradesh: The utility company PVVNL is ready to launch the first phase of the newly constructed 400 kV substation at Indirapuram’s Kala Patthar Road in trans-Hindon area in Ghaziabad.
The new substation has two 400 kV power transformers of 500 MVA capacity each, and three other 220 kV transformers of 60 MVA capacity each, reports The Times of India.
The substation will be made operational in multiple phases and the 60 MVA transformers will be put into operation in the first phase starting from 15 April.
The substation will supply electricity to the entire trans-Hindon area (Vaishali, Kaushambi, Pratap Vihar and Indirapuram).
