Abengoa completes transformer station project for a new steel plant

Argentina: Abengoa, an international energy company, has received the Provisional Acceptance Certificate for an electrical installation for a steel plant in the Rosario region of the Santa Fe Province, Argentina.

The project included the construction and the installation of a new transformer substation, as well as the extension of an existing one, for the new steel plant owned by Gerdau, a Brazilian steel company.

Abengoa also built a 7 km transmission line and performed the corresponding adjustments to the Rosario Este transformer substation.

The Provisional Acceptance Certificate from Gerdau confirms that works have been completed correctly.
