ACTOM appointed new Group CEO
South Africa: Mervyn Naidoo has been appointed new Group CEO of ACTOM, South Africa’s largest manufacturer and supplier of electrical equipment, including power transformers.
Naidoo took over the position on 1 March 2017.
Formerly Divisional CEO of ACTOM’s LH Marthinusen division, Naidoo succeeded Mark Wilson, who held the Group CEO post since 1996, the company stated in a press release.
Wilson, who has been the Chairman of ACTOM since 2008, retains the Chairman position, while Andries Tshabalala, previously Group Executive Director, has been appointed new Deputy Chairman.
