CALF cooperative installs new 30 MVA transformer in Rio Negro

Argentine, Rio Negro: Carlos Ciapponi, the president of an Argentine electricity provider CALF has inaugurated a large 30 MVA transformer to be installed at the Gran Neuquén transformer station in Rio Negro.

The transformer is part of the $6.4 million investment that the cooperative will make throughout the year for the acquisition of equipment, facilities and execution of works, reports Rio Negro.

Also, after one year a new transformer substation located in Mitre and Rio Negro has been put into operation. The works on the new facility were delayed due to pipe leakage.
