Gurugram installs transformers and substations to ease the load

India, Gurugram: Power transmission company Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPNL) has installed two 220 kV substations in the city of Gurugram, a busy financial and technology hub, to increase the capacity of the power system and ease the load in the summer months.

In the same effort, recently the local distribution company has installed 19 high-capacity transformers across Gurugram, reports Times of India.

However, more transformers need to be installed to enhance the capacity of the system to withstand the rising demand, according to the cited sources.
