Croatia’s HEP to invest $160.5M in 2017 in the coastal region
Croatia, Zagreb: Croatian state-owned power utility HEP plans to invest a total of $160.5 million in 2017 to boost the security of electricity supply to a growing number of customers.
The investment was announced during the official opening of the Hrvace transformer station near the Peruc hydropower plant, reports SeeNews.
These investments are necessary to enable further growth of Croatian tourism, but also to increase the quality of life of the citizens of the Croatian Adriatic region.
The projects will include replacement of obsolete electrical equipment in Istria, network construction in Rijeka and expansion of the distribution grid in the Zadar county.
