Oregon transformer manufacturer to lay off 110 employees

USA, Oregon: Pacific Crest Transformers, a Jackson County manufacturer of power transformers, has announced plans to cut 110 jobs in November.

In a note to union representatives, the company said it will “substantially” reduce its workforce however, it doesn’t explain the reasons behind this decision, reports Oregon Live.

The cuts will take place at its factory north of Medford, where Pacific Crest has been operating for more than 44 years.
