Czech distribution company plans $500M investments in 2018
The Czech Republic, Prague: A Czech electricity distribution company ČEZ Distribuce plans to invest around $500 million in the construction, reconstruction and repairs of electricity infrastructure in 2018.
Among the projects currently under way are the reconstruction of the Lichoceves substation and the construction of a new transformer station TR Triangle, which should also supply power to the Nexen Tire Corporation Czech production facility, reports Prague Monitor.
The Fifejdy transformer station which is under construction in Ostrava should also be completed by the end of 2017.
The aim of the new investments is to provide a more reliable electricity supply and meet the growing customer demand to connect to the grid.
