Montenegro to build new substation in Ulcinj
Montenegro, Podgorica: Montenegro’s power grid operator Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem (CEDIS) plans to invest 2 million euro ($2.3 million) in the construction of a new 35 kV/10 kV power substation in Ulcinj, a coastal town in the south of the country.
The substation will have an installed capacity of 2×8 MVA, with the 35 kV switchyard consisting of five cells, reports SeeNews.
The 10 kV switchyard will be equipped with 13 cells, including eight outgoing feeders.
The project will significantly improve the quality of power supply to over 5,500 customers in the area of Ulcinj.
The construction will be completed by the end of the year.
