The Philippines’ BOI approves $677M renewable energy projects

The Philippines: The Philippine’s Board of Investments (BOI) has approved four renewable energy projects with combined investments of $677 million.

The approved renewable energy generation investments are the Calatagan wind project in Batangas, the Talim wind power project in Rizal, Talisay wind power project in Camarines Norte, and biomass power plant in Nueva Ecija, reports Manila Bulletin.

All projects will include the requisite electrical infrastructure, including high voltage switchgear facilities and power transformers.
