Côte-d’Ivoire invites bids for three substation contracts

Côte-d’Ivoire has received a loan from the International Development Association (IDA) to finance the Project for Transmission, Distribution and Access to Electricity (PTDAE) with plans to use part of the funds for the construction of the 225 kV source substations at Yopougon 1, Treichville and BiaSud.

On behalf of the Managing Director of the Ministry of Petroleum, Energy and Energy Development Renewal, Côte-d’Ivoire Energies (CI-ENERGIES) invites closed bids from eligible bidders who meet the requirements for the following contracts:

  1. Construction of the 225 kV substation at Yopougon 1, including two 225 kV, 100 MVA power transformers, and two 225 kV lines from Abobo-Azito to Yopougon 1 and from Yopougon in Abidjan.
  2. Construction of the 225 kV Treichville substation, including two 225 kV, 100 MVA power transformers
  3. Construction of the 225 kV substation in Bia Sud, including two 225 kV, 100 MVA transformer bays, and a construction of the 225 kV substation on the Vridi-Riviera line in Biasud.
