545 power utility workers to receive training in West Africa
Nigeria and Ghana: National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN) started the training programme of 545 power utility workers across West Africa, with 300 technical and non-technical staff of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) in Lagos.
Within the programme, the first group of 106 trainees started their training in transformer and switchgear maintenance, reports Daily Trust.
The training, conducted in collaboration with the Association of Power Utilities of Africa (APUA), will include 300 TCN staff, 203 workers from electricity distribution companies and 42 VRA/Gridco Ghana workers.
