Ørsted selecting contractor for $103M onshore substation project in Taiwan
Danish energy company Ørsted is in the final stage of selection of an onshore substation engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for the Greater Changhua wind projects, which will be located off Changhua County in western Taiwan.
Three companies from Taiwan are competing for the $103 million job, reports CTBR.
Once Ørsted has the grid capacity and permits in place, which is expected to happen by mid-year, it will sign the EPC contact for the first onshore substation.
The entire project will be installed between 2021 and 2025.
