Honduras receives new mobile substation

Honduras: The National Electric Power Company (ENEE) of Honduras is installing a new mobile substation which will improve the quality of electric service in La Paz, Cane, Humuya and San Sebastián municipalities in the departments of Comayagua and La Paz.

The new mobile substation, with an installed capacity of 25 MVA, will be installed at the entrance to the department of La Paz, reports BN Americas.

The substation will improve the quality of the electric service in the area and boost urban development by responding to the future electricity demand of the Palmerola airport, new commercial investments derived from the construction of the Dry Canal, and provide existing service providers with adequate service.
