Last week’s transformer fire at UH caused $1.5M damage

USA, Hawaii: Last week’s transformer fire at the University of Hawaii at Manoa’s campus in Honolulu has been ruled accidental, according to the Honolulu Fire Department.

After an investigation, it has been determined that there was a malfunction within the transformer which ignited transformer oil inside and caused an explosion leading to the fire, reports Hawaii News Now.

The fire is estimated to have done $1.5 million in damage
