FirstEnergy completing transmission project in Northern Ohio

USA, Ohio: FirstEnergy revealed that one of its subsidiaries is ready to energize a new 138 kV transmission line and substation later this month to improve service reliability for Ohio Edison and Toledo Edison customers in northern Ohio.

The project includes a new transmission line and a new substation, with a power transformer and associated electrical equipment, under construction near Bellevue, Ohio, the company said in the press release.

The new facilities are on schedule to be energized ahead of a May 31 in-service deadline.
