Ukrenergo planning to complete Berezan substation in 2018

Ukrainian national energy company Ukrenergo is reconstructing the Berezan substation in Mykolaiv region to make it ready to accept electricity generated by Voskhod solar power plant.

The project scheduled for completion in 2018 involves installation of an additional 220 kV power transformer to ensure the full power output of the solar plant is fed to the 220 kV network, reports Open4Business.

The completion of the first stage of reconstruction of the Berezan substation and the connection of 35 kV overhead lines will increase the reliability of the power supply to the resort areas of Mykolaiv region (Koblevo, Tuzly).
