New substation commissioned at Tauriko industrial park

New Zealand, Bay of Plenty: A new substation has been commissioned in Tauranga to enhance electricity supply to the rapidly expanding Tauriko industrial estate.

The substation is equipped with two 110 kV power transformers and it will be operated by Powerco, New Zealand’s second largest electricity utility, reports Sun Live.

The Tauriko Business Estate is one of the biggest industrial parks in Australasia comprising 200 hectares (494 acres) of developed lots.
