New substation opened in New Delhi
India, New Delhi: With India’s capital facing a power demand growth by 4-5% annually, distribution companies are setting up better infrastructure to meet the rising load.
A new BSES Rajdhani Power Limited’s grid substation, with power transformers and associated electrical equipment, has been launched at Fatehpur Beri in South Delhi, increasing the grid capacity in the area by 50 MVA – to 130 MVA, reports The Times of India.
The substation will improve the power supply in areas of Fatehpur Beri, Chandan Hola, Bhatti Mines, Chattarpur Farms, Dera Bhati and Asola.
