L&T wins power project contracts worth $299M
UAE, Dubai: India’s company Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced that one of its key subsidiaries has recently secured $299 million worth of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts.
In the Middle East, L&T’s Power Transmission and Distribution Business has won a contract to construct 115 kV substations with associated electrical equipment, transmission lines and cable circuits in Saudi Arabia, reports Trade Arabia.
Also, the Indian company has won an extra high-voltage substation order from a reputed customer in Oman.
Apart from these projects, the company has received an order for a 275 kV substation from the Sarawak state of Malaysia.
In India, the company has won contracts for solar photovoltaic (PV) power projects in three Indian states.
