$5.2 M substation expansion in Iran
Iran: The first phase of a 132 kV substation in Choram County came online and construction on the second phase started, the Iranian Energy Ministry news portal Paven reported.

Iran: The first phase of a 132 kV substation in Choram County came online and construction on the second phase started, the Iranian Energy Ministry news portal Paven reported.
Comprising of a transformer and five feeders, the first phase of the substation was completed in two years and cost $1.1 M.
The second phase will have two transformers and 10 feeders and is expected to come online by 2021 with an investment of $4.1 M.
Increasing electricity supply in Choram and the surrounding regions, increasing network stability and improving the voltage status are key goals of the project.
