$3.8 M revamp for 37 km transmission line

Australia: A 47-year-old transmission line in Brisbane’s southside, which plays a critical role in securing power supply for both Brisbane and Ipswich, has undergone a $3.8 million revamp.

The transmission line runs through Eight Mile Plains, Wishart, Runcorn, Drewvale, Goodna and Collingwood Park. The rejuvenation of the line includes 105 transmission towers.
