Adani Transmission takes over Kharghar-Vikhroli transmission project
India, Mumbai: Adani Transmission has completed the acquisition of a special purpose vehicle set up by the Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company for the execution of Kharghar-Vikhroli transmission project after the Adani Group company tagged the project in December.
Adani Transmission will build, own, operate, and maintain the transmission project in the state of Maharashtra for a period of 35 years.
“This project is critical to the city of Mumbai as the existing capacity of transmission corridor is not sufficient to carry further power into the city.
