AMU invites bids for 3 MW solar plant maintenance

Aligarh Muslim University invites bids for CAMC of its 3 MW solar plant and 33 kV transmission line.

India: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has issued a tender for the Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC) of its 3 MW ground-mounted solar plant and 33 kV transmission line (app. 3 km).

The contract covers operation, maintenance, and servicing of the transmission system and HT panels at both the plant and AMU grid substation.

Key Details:

  • Bid Deadline: 8 April 2025 (12:00 PM); Opening at 12:30 PM
  • Bid Validity: 90 days
  • EMD: $600 (₹52,050) (exemptions for eligible MSEs)
  • PBG: 5 % of contract value (valid for 15 months)
  • Evaluation: Two-packet system (technical & financial bids)
  • Experience Required: 3+ years in similar services
  • Purchase Preference: MSEs & ‘Make in India’ (50 % local content for Class 1 suppliers, 20 % for Class 2)
  • Pre-bid Meeting: 24 March 2025 (11:00 AM) at AMU’s Electricity Supply Service Section

The CAMC covers preventive maintenance, calibration, and spare parts, ensuring 98 % uptime. The contract includes a one-year warranty followed by two years of comprehensive maintenance, supporting AMU’s sustainable energy goals.
