Azerbaijan sends 17 transformers to Ukraine
Azerbaijan has sent 17 transformers and over 52 km of electrical cables and wires to Ukraine as humanitarian aid.

Azerbaijan, Baku: Azerbaijan has sent 17 transformers and over 52 km of electrical cables and wires to Ukraine, Alasgar Hasanov, Head of Department at Azerbaijan’s Energy Ministry, said, according to report.az
“Funds in the manat equivalent of $1 million were allocated for organizing the aid, and the batch was sent on February 7, 2025. The total amount of reconstruction and humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine has exceeded $40 million,” Hasanov commented.
To date, electrical equipment including 134 transformers and complete transformer stations, around 70 generators, and approximately 3.4 million meters of electrical cables and wires have been sent to Ukraine as humanitarian aid. Based on the request received from Ukraine, the supplies are intended to restore a sustainable power supply to areas affected by war.
