China, Wenzhou: CHINT is commemorating its 40th anniversary and to mark the occasion, the company hosted the 2024 Ou River Summit in Wenzhou, bringing together industry experts, leaders, and key stakeholders to address green energy transformation and low-carbon initiatives. The event coincided with the 2nd China-Europe-Africa Green Energy Development Forum, which explored collaborative opportunities in sustainable energy. Additionally, the CHINT Cup Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition provided a platform for emerging global talent to showcase solutions that accelerate innovation in traditional industries.
From its beginnings in 1984 as a family workshop in Wenzhou, a coastal city in Eastern China, CHINT has evolved into a multinational corporation in the electrical and renewable energy sectors.
