Lithiania, Klaipeda: Elektrum Lietuva, a unit of Latvian state-owned utility Latvenergo, has started construction works on three solar parks in Lithuania with a combined capacity of 176 MW. The facilities, spanning 250 hectares, are being built in the Klaipeda District Municipality on the coast. Two of the sites will feed electricity into the ESO distribution network, while one will be connected to the grid of Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator Litgrid. The sites are expected to become operational no later than September 2025.
