CWIEME Berlin confirms first 2026 speakers

Early speaker list highlights research, materials and power system expertise shaping discussions for the 2026 edition.

Germany, Berlin: CWIEME Berlin has announced the first group of confirmed speakers for its 2026 edition, offering an early indication of the technical themes likely to shape discussions at next year’s event.

The initial speaker list brings together expertise from academia, materials, component manufacturing and power systems. Confirmed speakers include Dr Anna Ermakova from the University of Bristol, Niilo Härmä of Stora Enso, Dr-Ing. Markus Brams from FISENS GmbH, Marco Gubitosa of Industrie Saleri Italo, and Andre Xavier from Nidec Power.

The diversity of backgrounds reflects ongoing cross-disciplinary challenges facing transformer and electrical equipment manufacturing, including materials performance, component design, monitoring and system integration.

The 2026 edition of CWIEME Berlin is scheduled to take place from 19 to 21 May in Berlin. The event is widely attended by stakeholders from the transformer, motor and e-mobility value chains and is often used as a forum to exchange views on manufacturing practices, supply chains and evolving grid requirements.
