Croatia, Zagreb: Croatian electrical equipment manufacturer Končar – Elektroindustrija’s unit Končar – Instrument Transformers has delivered 77 current, voltage, and combined transformers with voltage levels of up to 420 kV to customers in the Czech Republic. Most of the equipment was delivered to CEPS, the Czech transmission operator, with the rest distributed to utilities CEZ and EG.D-E.ON.

Under two multi-year contracts, the company delivered almost 200 current, voltage, and combined transformers, of 245 kV and 420 kV, to ten transformer substations by early 2023. In August 2023, CEPS awarded it two additional long-term contracts for the supply of high-voltage instrument transformers (245 kV and 420 kV), with deliveries planned through the end of 2025.
