Croatia, Zagreb: KONČAR Power Transformers (KPT) is in the process of delivering six power transformers for a newly developed, privately owned data centre located in the European Union. The scope of supply includes four 150 MVA units and two 242 MVA transformers, each engineered to meet high technical demands aligned with the customer’s infrastructure strategy for digital and cloud services.

The 242 MVA unit will power an SVC system (TCR). According to KPT, custom solutions were developed and validated specifically for the requirements of this project. Transport to the site involves a multimodal route, with the transformers first moved by rail to the port of Vukovar, and then by barge along the Danube River to their final destination.
