Končar’s transformers for Litgrid
Končar – Instrument Transformers has delivered 27 power and 15 voltage eco-conscious instrument transformers to Litgrid.

Croatia, Zagreb: Croatian electrical equipment manufacturer Končar – Elektroindustrija has announced that its unit Končar – Instrument Transformers has delivered 27 power and 15 voltage eco-conscious instrument transformers to Lithuania’s transmission system operator Litgrid. The company said all of the transformers belong to its Green line series and are accordingly insulated with a biodegradable liquid with a reduced environmental impact.
The transformers will be installed in the Zokniyu, Dirvupia and Klaipedos substations. The latter two are important for supplying the VMG Technics R&D centre in the Klaipeda district, which was designed as an industrial innovation and technological progress centre.
